MAKING A DIFFERENCE

One of the reasons we started this company was so we could make a difference. We do this in part by making sure our business practices have the least environmental impact possible. But that’s not enough. Fortunately, there are many other non-profit and charitable organizations working to make this a healthier and happier place. We feel it is our obligation to support them whenever we have the opportunity. Our membership with 1% For The Planet is one of the many ways we’re doing this..

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Additionally, Earth Friendly Apparel Company has several community and education programs in the works, including think more™. We strongly encourage community involvement because we believe that people are more likely to take responsibility on a local level, which can then grow into national and global participation. Likewise, we are very interested in youth education. Children who learn eco-friendly habits have a greater chance of creating lifelong behaviors.

QUALIFYING FOR DONATIONS

Earth Friendly Apparel Company is committed to supporting a variety of charitable and community activities. The primary areas of focus for our giving include:
· Sustainable and organic agriculture initiatives
· Continuous Education (Youth) – environmental focus
· Carlsbad and Southern California community events and programs

In addition to in-kind donations (primarily screenprinted tee shirts), Earth Friendly Apparel Company supports organizations and charities through volunteer work, financial support, grants and sponsorships.

If you have a great cause and would like to discuss Earth Friendly Apparel Company sponsorship or support, please contact us by sending an email to involvement@earthfriendlyapparel.net. Make sure to include a basic description of your event or program, what you are asking for from Earth Friendly Apparel Company and all of the appropriate contact information so we can get back in touch. While we would like to respond favorably to all requests, the needs are far greater than our dedicated resources. Therefore it is not possible for us to accommodate everyone.
